Wentworth James Group are recruiting for an experienced and time-served Electrical and Controls Design Engineer for our prestigious client based near Tamworth.

Required Skills:

Experience with Telemecanique / Schneider TM241 PLC and HMISTM HMI.

Experience with Schneider SoMachine software or EcoStruxure Machine Expert.

Experience programming in Structured Text primarily and Ladder Logic programming secondly.

Experience connecting to PLC’s for updating, programming and fault-finding purposes.

A good understanding on the operation of solenoids, pneumatics, power supplies and electrical system components, as well as having the ability to function test said components.

Have a good repour with key suppliers, such as Schnedier, and keep informed on new products and component obsolescence.

Be able to design new solutions to customer & management requirements, by sourcing new components and integrating them into the current design.

Good time management, with the ability to work on multiple tasks of different priorities, so they all are completed on time.

Be able to work independently as well as part of a team and take the initiative when needed.

Good all round electro-mechanical engineering background

Understanding of 3 phase as well as Single phase / signal electrics.

Recommended Experience:

Time served design engineer, with experience in physical fault finding of machinery.

Good computer literacy, experience creating graphs in Excel, replying to emails in a professional manner, writing documents in Word.

Knowledge of setting up Ethernet networks, such as setting IP addresses

Salary of £55,000 Per Annum
