About the Role:
We are currently seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Engineer with a strong CNC background to join our growing team. Operating on a day shift basis, you’ll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and improvement of our CNC machinery and other plant equipment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for engineering and a desire to work in a stable, well-established manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Carry out planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance on CNC and laser cutting machinery

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults quickly and effectively

Work closely with the production and engineering teams to minimize downtime

Assist in continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation

Ensure all work is carried out in line with health and safety standards
Requirements:
-
Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing environment

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with CNC machinery

Multi-skilled with mechanical and electrical fault-finding abilities

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently

Relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ, HNC, or equivalent)

£35,000 – £38,000 salary DOE
