We are currently looking to recruit an experienced CAD Engineer that is proficient in using Tekla. You’ll be responsible for creating technical drawings and models for various construction and engineering projects. Ensuring accuracy in the projects is essential and being compliant with all industry standards. The opportunity will offer a diverse range of projects to work on at anyone time, you’ll be joining a collaborative environment and team.

 Responsibilities

• Develop precise 3D models and detailed drawings using Tekla Structures, ensuring they meet project specifications and standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical schematics.
• Utilise software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks to produce comprehensive design documentation.
• Prepare schematics, plans, sections, and elevations for construction purposes.
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback and project updates to maintain accuracy throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in the coordination of design data across various disciplines to ensure seamless integration of structural components.
• Maintain organised digital files of all drawings and models in accordance with company protocols.

Skills

• Proven experience with Tekla Structures is essential.
• Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, SketchUp, NavisWorks, and SolidWorks.
• Strong understanding of schematics and technical drawing standards within the construction industry.
• Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans effectively.

In return for your experience the renumeration package will be between £40,000 – £50,000+, working a days shift position Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and a 4pm finish on Fridays.
