Job roles for commercial vehicle administrator
This position is office based and the hours of work are from 7.30am to 5.00pm but negotiable.
The candidate would ideally be from a vehicle hire background but is not essential as on the job training would be given. Needs to have a good telephone manner and confident with Microsoft office applications.
To assist in the day to day running of the commercial van fleet.
To organise recoveries after RTA’s and courtesy vehicles for the drivers.
To assist with insurance claims and organise repairs.
Assist with fuel cards for the fleet of vehicles.
Take orders from sites for any van requirements.
Hire in any vans or trucks that we may need when our fleet is fully utilised at the best prices. Also off hiring of vehicles when no longer required.
Experience with using Navman fleet system but not essential so as to produce out of hours reporting and speeding reports.
To assist with arranging MOT’s to be done on vans nationwide.
Assist with external repairs on the fleet i.e. punctures / windscreens etc.
Maintain the insurance MID database for all vehicles.
28 Days holiday per annum which includes statutory bank holidays
Company pension scheme
Salary depending on experience and qualifications but would be in the region of 24k to 27k.
