Our client, a supplier of building materials with major plans for expansion over the next 12 months, requires an experienced Logistics Assistant / Load Planner to join their busy transport office.

The successful candidate will have experience of :

• Understanding load & vehicle weights
• Liaising with internal dispatch teams
• Dealing with independent hauliers
• Allocating & collating appropriate paperwork

Hours of work are 08.00 – 4.30 Monday – Friday. Basic hourly rate £11.00 per hour to £12.00 per hour depending on experience.

The first 3 months will be in Atherstone, the second 3 months will be in Cannock. Mileage will be paid by the client.

This is a 6 month contract but our client is recruiting for 40 permanent posts so excellent opportunities to apply for permanent positions.
