Job Brief

We are looking to recruit a new position of Manufacturing Manager for the production facility in Warrington. The business runs out of 2 buildings with a total sqft of 40,000sqft. One facility is mainly production of industrial textiles while the other building is our clean and repair site which also does produce covers.

We are seeking a proactive, experienced manufacturing manager to take the reins of the manufacturing operation on both sites. Experience in Fabric / textile manufacturing would be a major help.

There are circa 25 staff at peak times.

The role will include:

• Planning all jobs that are to be manufactured.
• All HR and recruitment for shop floor & installation staff
• H&S for the shop floor
• Quality control
• Running MRP
• Placing orders for live jobs
• Looking at what Capex for new technology and machinery is required.
• Maximising the efficiencies from the production department
• Working closely with senior management
• Work to budgets and timings on all jobs
• Keeping both sites tidy and organised.

• At least 5 years’ experience in running a production floor (ideally in the textile trade)

• Attention to detail is a must.
