Wentworth James Group are a specialist engineering and technical agency working with a number of large and small engineering clients throughout the UK. We are currently working with a growing automotive company based in the Wolverhampton area who are looking for an experienced press toolmaker.

We are currently looking for an experienced metal press shop Toolmaker to join our growing team. You will be required to work in our tool room producing new and rectifying press tools in our domestic machine shop. Our tool room is a conventional machine shop so no cnc experience required but knowledge of all conventional machinery is a must. It is a key position within the business to ensure that the press shop is kept running at all times.

POSITION SUMMARY 

• Deal with routine maintenance, break downs, design changes and new projects.
• Have day to day contact with the production and engineering team.
• Expectation to make press adaptions and improvements to different types of tools to enable the processes to be as efficient as possible.

Our presses range from 40-1000 tonnes, including progression, transfer and 6-stage line.

EXPERIENCE:
