A Purchase Ledger Clerk required for a new and exciting permanent opportunity based in Willenhall. You will be working as part of a small friendly team where you will be responsible for processing up to 1000 invoices on a monthly basis from start to finish.

We are looking for an experienced purchase ledger clerk who can join the business and hit the ground running. You must be able to work under minimal supervision, have a strong eye for detail and have excellent communication skills. We are a well established business based in Willenhall with an open and friendly culture, easily accessible by public transport, offer free onsite parking, 28 days annual leave and 4PM leave every Friday (except month end). Your main duties will include:

– Matching, batching and coding invoices
– Processing payments by BACs/CHAPs
– Reconciling supplier statements
– Liaising with suppliers and resolving queries
– Managing petty cash
– General administration
– Filing Invoices
– Data Entry

The ideal candidate:
– Excellent communication skills
– Solid team working skills
– Self-disciplined and efficient, with a flexible and proactive nature
– Knowledge of software packages such as CIS and Opera (not essential but preferred)
– Demonstrable experience of bookkeeping (not essential but preferred)
– Ability to work to deadlines
– Minimum 3 years purchase ledger experience
– Only applicants with a suitable amount of UK based experience and who have a legal right to work within the UK will be considered
