£36,000 to £38,000 per year + 28 days holiday

Are you a CAD draughtsman or CAD technician that has experience in designing steel structures?

This company specialise in the design and fabrication of architectural metalwork, supplying such things as staircases, balustrades and canopies. They work with major blue chip construction companies and they have just had an extremely successful year and are looking to continue this growth in the next 12 months.

In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for producing 3D General Arrangement drawings and fabrication component drawings. You will liaise with the sales and contracts teams as well as with various others teams to assist with technical queries.

The ideal candidate will have design experience from a structural steel background and also have proven experience with AutoCAD and Tekla.

The Role:

*Producing 3D General Arrangement drawings and fabrication component drawings

*Liaising with customers and occasionally carrying out site surveys

*Ensuring designs are in line with manufacturing and installation processes.

The Person:

*Experience of working with an AutoCAD and Tekla

*Experience of metalwork design

*Ideally from a structural steel and architecture background
