Wentworth James are recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder to work for an established engineering company based in the Sparkhill area due to a peak in orders and repeat business.

The Role:

This is a good opportunity to join a rapidly growing company develop existing and new skills along the way. It is working on an initial temporary basis leading to a permanent role for the right candidate. All work would be working on a day shift with overtime available in the week and sometimes on the weekend – which is paid at premiums.

Duties:

• TIG Welding of bespoke fabrications
• Conducting work for the pharmaceutical, aerospace, construction and food industries
• Fabrication and sub-assembly of products
• Working with mainly stainless but other materials as required
• Utilising a range of power tools, grinders and other machinery
• Quality inspection and basic testing work
