Here are 5 fun and interesting questions answered by Ed:

What do you like most about your job?

“Without a doubt, it’s the sense of satisfaction that you get from making a real difference. Whether it be assisting a client with a role that would typically be difficult to fill, or identifying talented candidates and guiding them through their journey from the opening conversation all the way to placing them in their dream job”.

What is the best career lesson you’ve learned so far?

“During my time in my first ever full-time role, working in hospitality, I quickly learned the true value of transparency. Irrelevant of the job you do or the industry you work in, it is imperative to strive to always be honest, reliable and efficient. I have always carried this mantra with me with every job since, and am so happy to have found, in Wentworth James, a company that not only identifies these core values, but prides itself on how they consistently deliver on them”.

What’s a fun fact about you many people may not know?

“I went to secondary school at Idsall in Shifnal, Shropshire (a loooooong time ago). The school had ties to Lilleshall School of Excellence, so all the developing England footballers at the time, attended the same school. The likes of Sol Campbell, Jamie Carragher, Rio Ferdinand, Michael Owen. I even sat next to Joe Cole and Scotty Parker in GCSE History. All of whom went on to have incredible careers in the top flight domestically and internationally”.

If you could meet anyone in the world, dead or alive, who would it be and why?

“Without a doubt, Steven Gerrard. I’m a massive Liverpool fan and he is without a doubt, the club’s greatest ever player and a icon on Merseyside. Would love to go for a pint with him and hear all about his amazing career at Liverpool and when he is going to come back home and manage the greatest club in the world! Is it obviously that I am a massive LFC fan #YNWA!”

If you could have any superpower what would it be and why?

“Tough one, but I think that time travel would be really cool. The ability to be able to experience moments in history first hand that are only ever talked about now would be amazing. It would be handy to be able to go back to last Friday now I know what the Euro Million numbers are and buy myself a ticket!!”
