Now it pains me to write this after the weekend, the team celebrated our 4th birthday on Friday this week in Birmingham and it was a fantastic evening for all, I thought that would be the last of the 4’s I would see this weekend, however, this was not the case! Aston Villa cruised to victory against Brentford with a managerless masterclass scoring 3 goals inside 14 minutes and adding the dreaded 4th in the 59th minute. This was closely followed by Wolves conceding 4 at the hands of a rampant Leicester City. I guess the 4th birthday was a sign.
The talking point in Fantasy football this weekend was the bench! Over social media fantasy football experts compared mouth watering bench totals and I was unable to find a successful bench boost what a waste of points! Our league continued how it left off, Michael Singh and David Slann matched points at the top keeping the lead the same, Michael had a hefty bench like those on twitter, will he change up the starting 11 at hope those players continue to prosper!
Our highest point scorer this week went to Laurence Jones, a fantastic effort with 78 points making use of the players majority left on their bench this week. These points helped him climb up the leader board into 23rd place with 74 points being the difference between this position and 1st in the league.
