Gameweek 1 saw a surprise early lead from David Slann who controversially used his triple captain in week one to devastating effect. Will this move cost him in a double game week? He was helped by some standout performances from Zinchenko, Cancelo and Tripper, although the decision to leave Daniel Podence on the bench will weigh heavy on his shoulders.

On the same points as David is Harrison Wood, he didn’t use his triple captain but the team performed for him. He saw big points from his midfield and attack while his defence was solid. Will he stick with Salah as captain for Gameweek 2 or switch to Haaland?

In 3rd place was Sam Baldwin, there was a surprise start for Mitrovic and it paid off in a massive way. The Fulham striker is only selected by 11.6% of players and returned a huge points haul of 13, this along side the 13 from Haaland shot Sam into 3rd place. The question he will have for next week is to stick or Twist? His bench options don’t look great so could we see a wildcard played?

At the other end of the league we saw some shock results.

Daryl Allen is bottom, perhaps paying the price for not starting Salah or Haaland. He placed his faith in Kane but that was misplaced with the England striker surprisingly failing to score in Tottenham’s 4-1 victory over Southampton. Will we see big changes next week from Daryl or does he have faith in his current team?

Second bottom is Ryan Allmark, again we saw Kane placed as captain which backfired. Ryan did include Salah who scored 12 points for him, but most shocking of all was the decision to start Cameron Archer over Ivan Toney, there was also a surprise start for Aaron Hickey of Brentford a player whos only selected by 0.3% of Fantasy Players. Will we see Cameron Archer starting Gameweek 2 upfront?

3rd bottom is Rob Machin. Rob’s knowledge of football is good, that’s why we were surprised to see him captain Jesus over Salah and Haaland. This backfired on the avid Leeds fan as Jesus only scored 4 points. There is no surprise that he went with Patrick Bamford to partner Jesus upfront, the Leeds striker returning a good 5 points. Will we see an improvement from the man with more football knowledge than Pep Guardiola in Gameweek 2?

A special mention to Callum Handy, only escaping the bottom 3 by 3 points after some questionable choices. Callum went with 3 Villa players in his squad, scoring a total of 3 points, he went with Jesus as captain and surprisingly Aaron Ramsdale as vice captain. Will he look to change this for Gameweek 2 or has he got confidence in this new look Arsenal team?
